You can help by submitting written comments on the Green Line Extension’s Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR). Write that:
- You fully support the Green Line Extension,
- But you oppose the “Yard 8″ Maintenance Facility and Storage Yard site,
- And support farther study of alternative sites, such as the “Mirror H” site proposed by Somerville
For more detailed talking point suggestions, see the post on “Why Brickbottom Opposes Yard 8″ or Mayor Curtatone’s letter to Secretary Aloisi.
Carbon-copy the rest of the officials listed to have the most reach.
The deadline for comments is January 8, 2010. Include a reference to the project number EEA #13886 in your letter. The salutation of your letter should be to Secretary Ian Bowles and MEPA Analyst Holly Johnson.
